Project: Sapphire Coast Anglican College
Location: Bega, New South Wales
Date: October 2005 - April 2006
Background
The College's sports fields had been excellently constructed but poor turf selection and inadequate management practices had resulted in an unsatisfactory playing surface.
Project details
The object of this project was to construct a safe, all weather sports field facility with a lush coverage of Conquest Couch turf grass.
The irrigation system was upgraded before the existing Rye grass surface was converted to Conquest Couch using the line planting method.
Vivesco managed the entire project, including the completion of all maintenance, until the three hectare sports field was re-opened for student play.
